COACHING
Effective coaching is about achieving goals. The coach helps set meaningful goals and identify specific behaviors or steps for meeting them. The coach then helps to clarify milestones or measures of success and holds the individuals accountable for them.
This is where problems begin in the development process – from manufacturing, through distribution to individuals – the issue remains consistent. There are three levels of development needed to change the behaviour required to achieve your goals. First you need to be prepared through explanation of what is expected and the reasons for change to take place.
Phase 1 -Education – the delivery of information
Phase 2 -Training – turning information into executable actions and meaningful delivery
This allows for three levels of learning to take place through demonstration, observation supervision and coaching
First is Memorization and learning through repetition and documentation.
Second phase is to personalize the training.
Third and final step is to professionalize the learning and this is achieved through effective coaching.
